Gave them a prey and hunter theme with their headpieces (although for gmork that is actually part of his body, not just a headpiece).

This is the scene where Atreyu meets Morla the Aged One.

The Purple Buffalo

The Sketches

Some quick sketchy paintings! I will try to update this with more sketches I did for this project.
These sketches sort of set the groundwork for my final pieces, I kinda wish I stuck to my initial ideas I had for Morla instead of my final one.. Might go back and switch up when I have time :P

Most of these are small black and white film studies but some are my own thumbnails.

Haha I know this looks terrible, but I thought it was funny and wanted to post it :P anyhow, this was for digital design and we were supposed to practice using the masking tool and were asked to take three of our own photos and make a new photo. I used about 7 or 8 photos I took from my trip to Korea for the background, my self portrait monster thing, and a picture of me with a bow at the Renaissance Fair and made some sort of fight scene? I guess? haha also I am an elf lol
