These past few weeks I've resolved to paint mostly by hand again and without too many photo textures, it's a lot more fun and surprisingly faster. It helps me not worry too much about getting everything realistic and I have more freedom to play around. Painting mostly by hand has also made me not use too many layers at once which is a definite plus. I realized though I use a similar composition in almost all my environments, which sucks!
